PRESS RELEASE - February 4, 2013
K2 Enterprises today announced that the organization plans to offer and produce webcast Continuing Professional Education (CPE) content, effective beginning on May 1, 2013. In cooperation with other CPE providers, K2 Enterprises has delivered web-based CPE to approximately eight thousand participants during the past three years. Beginning in May, the organization will produce and broadcast web-based CPE to meet their unique objectives in serving their CPE constituents and technology clients.
“By self-hosting, we have more flexibility on schedule, content, delivery, and partnering. These webcast events will be in partnership directly with state CPA societies as they are the core of our revenue and delivery model. In addition, we will continue to support and participate in state CPA society hosted webcasts, just as we have for several years. ” said Val Steed, CEO of K2 Enterprises.
According to Randy Johnston, Executive Vice President, the company will be able to market these events through traditional and nontraditional channels, including their newsletter and social media initiatives. “By partnering with state societies, we will provide a very robust webcast series. Further, our relationships with a number of technology providers will allow us to bring in expert guest speakers to join with us on webcasts where appropriate. We are very excited about these opportunities and look forward to serving our customers in this new environment,” said Johnston.
K2 Enterprises is the premier provider of technology-focused CPE in both the United States and Canada. During 2012, the Company delivered CPE seminars in over 45 states and provinces, provided in excess of 1,000 presentations, and produced special events such as their turn‐key Annual Technology Conferences.
