I generally avoid posting a lot of stuff about me to the blog, as most readers don’t care, and just want to get some tips to assist them in their daily quest to stay ahead of the technology in their world. In the last few months, however, I’ve had some pretty significant personal accomplishments, and I wanted to make a quick post about them.
- I am now a Technical Editor with the CPA Technology Advisor, and will be hosting a number of their podcasts, as well as writing my monthly column, The Sage Peachtree Perspective. More info on this at www.cpata.com.
- The Tennessee Society of CPA’s recently announced that I received the 2009 Outstanding Discussion Leader Award for some courses I taught last year. I’ll post the pics when I actually get the award from them later this year.
I’m still posting, but my posts are more infrequent now than in the past. Many of the “FYI” links I used to post are now posted to my Twitter feed, which is at www.twitter.com/bftcpa. For those interested in the links, there’s a pretty good history there.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to seeing you all on the road for the rest of this year.
